As a devoted enthusiast of the Miss Universe pageants, my admiration extends beyond the incredible women who powerfully represent their countries. This annual event holds a special place in my heart, serving as a cherished memory of family bonding. I fondly reminisce about gathering together with my loved ones to watch the pageant unfold. I can vividly recall my mother, in her local dialect accent, eagerly calling my father as soon as the swimsuit competition began.

Our living room would transform into a lively arena where each family member, with a touch of humor, would express appreciation for every candidate, playfully commenting as if we were flawless beings ourselves. Despite the playful banter, the overarching sentiment was one of awe and immense pride for these remarkable women.

In essence, watching the Miss Universe pageant has consistently left me inspired and deeply proud of the strength and grace exhibited by these extraordinary individuals.

Today, participating in a beauty pageant goes beyond conventional norms, embracing both internal and external beauty, along with a commitment to driving social change and contributing to society.

The journey on the pageant stage is arduous, filled with both admiration and critique from diverse global audiences. My deepest admiration goes to the courageous women who grace these esteemed platforms, representing their countries with unwavering grit and determination.

This year's Miss Universe competition holds a special significance as it opens its doors to mothers, shattering barriers and reshaping standards. Bravo! Heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Colombia (Top 5), and Ms. Guatemala, for their outstanding performances in this prestigious competition. As a proud supporter, I celebrate their remarkable achievements!

Ms. Colombia's remarkable journey took her to the Top 5, and I was particularly impressed by her thoughtful response during the Q&A portion. She stood out as one of my top contenders in this competition. While there are those who applaud the revolutionary changes in the rules of this pageant, it's inevitable that there are also individuals who remain adamant or oppose such transformations. Embracing change is undeniably challenging, but it signifies our collective path towards greater diversity, inclusivity, and equity.

Although she didn't secure a spot in the Top 3, Ms. Colombia delivered an outstanding performance from Day 1. Her presence and contribution to the competition were truly commendable.

While my unwavering support is with Ms. Philippines, I am confident that she will embark on incredible projects post-competition, standing out as a beacon of inspiration. A heartfelt congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Universe, Ms. Nicaragua, for a well-deserved victory.

A special acknowledgment to Ms. USA 2022, for her commendable advocacy in sustainable fashion - I eagerly anticipate following your impactful journey.

Here's to the empowered and inspiring women of Miss Universe 2023, forging a path of strength, grace, and purpose!
